Fincastle Classical Scholars is a Christ-centered, classical hybrid educational program for Kindergarten–5th grade, meeting at Fincastle Baptist Church and opening Fall 2027.
Sunday, November 8 · 4:00 PM · Room C10 at Fincastle Baptist Church. All families are welcome.
“To cultivate a joyful learning community that inspires wisdom, virtue, and faith—equipping children to think deeply, love truth, and serve others.”
Three days of classroom instruction, two days of FCS-guided learning at home—built on the time-tested Trivium.
For Kindergarten–5th grade, students build strong foundations through memorization, language, and rich stories—the first stage of the classical Trivium.
Scholars learn in the classroom Tuesday–Thursday, then continue at home on Mondays and Fridays with parent-led instruction using lessons and assignments FCS provides.
Scripture and biblical worldview are woven through reading, math, history, and science—not taught as a separate subject apart from the rest.
